I enjoyed DX vacation in South Pacific during 2007-2016 and operated 3D2YA, A35AY, FK/JA1NLX, JA1NLX/VK4 and P29VNX.
I visited Fiji several times to operate 3D2YA during 2008 - 2016. TRX: Elecraft KX3 and KXPA100 Amp.
I am no longer interested in challenging DXCC, instead, challenging USA County Award 2000 and more. Favourite mode is FT8/FT4.

I think this is the most impressive award in the world.
The first step was awarded in 1988. QSOs with USA has been dramatically increased since starting FT8 mode.
In 2020, 1000 was finally creditted thanks to eQSL credit. In 2023, 1500 was creditted.
I am challenging 2000.

QSO was mostly by CW until 2017. However,mostly by FT8 since 2018. How crazy it is !

My favourite radio is TS480HX. No spectrum/waterfall display, No ATU (I do not need both of them).
Max 200W power, very easy to use, independent "Tune" button to transmit with configured power to tune external ATU and more.

Antenna was top of 20m high toer until 2018. I used Dipole and Yagi. For some reason the tower was removed in 2018.
I have used small verticals since 2018. It works really well to challenge USA County Award on all HF bands except 160/80m.

We have lived here in Machida-city, Tokyo for many years. It is located about 30km west of central Tokyo.
